Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) for an immediate weekend opportunity in Oyster Bay, NY.

We currently have a rewarding opportunity to provide one-on-one care for a female client requiring mobility assistance and Hoyer lift transfers.

This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver who is confident assisting clients with limited mobility and is looking for consistent weekend hours with a steady schedule.

Available Case & Schedule

Oyster Bay – Female Client

• Friday–Sunday

• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Consistent 9-hour daytime shifts

• 27 scheduled hours per week

• Client weighs approximately 250 lbs

• Hoyer lift experience required

• Experience assisting clients with limited mobility, transfers, repositioning, and personal care strongly preferred

• Ability to follow safe patient-handling procedures and the established care plan

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required

• Prior hands-on Hoyer lift experience required

• Experience caring for clients with limited mobility

• Knowledge of safe transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention

• Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living

• Ability to follow established transfer protocols and use appropriate equipment

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional

• Ability to work independently within the client's established care plan

• Reliable transportation strongly preferred
