Affirmed Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a unique live-in private-duty assignment in Florida.

Assignment Details

• Location: Florida
• Assignment: November 2026 through April 2027
• Schedule: Live-in for the duration of the assignment
• Travel: RN will travel to Florida with the client
• Care: One-on-one private-duty care
• Client: Male client requiring supportive one-on-one care
• Compensation: Highly competitive daily compensation
• Ideal for an RN who is comfortable with an extended live-in assignment and enjoys providing personalized care

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one nursing care and support
• Manage and administer medications as directed
• Supervise and assist with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and engage the client in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
• Monitor the client’s overall well-being and communicate updates appropriately
• Maintain regular communication with the client’s designated representative/POA regarding care and condition
• Transport the client to medical appointments, errands, restaurant dining, and other activities
• Promote safety, comfort, independence, and dignity
• Advocate for the client and ensure their needs are appropriately addressed
• Maintain professional communication with the client, family/POA, and care team

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Active multistate RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience
• Home care, private-duty, acute care, or similar experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving history
• Comfortable driving the client as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, professional, compassionate, and adaptable
• Comfortable committing to a six-month live-in assignment
