Home Health Aide (HHA) – Somerset, NJ

Location: Somerset, NJ · Starting at $19.00/hour · Weekly Pay

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in Somerset, NJ.

This per diem position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay every Friday, and the opportunity to help a client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.

  • Support activities of daily living and provide medication reminders.

  • Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.

  • Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.

Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Willingness to drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required.

  • Current physical examination.

  • PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray, as required.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

  • Newly certified HHAs are welcome to apply.
