Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for a per diem private-duty case in Oyster Bay, NY caring for a bed-bound female client. Hoyer lift experience is required.

Position Overview
  • Role: Home Health Aide (HHA) – Per Diem
  • Location: Oyster Bay, NY + nearby Nassau County communities
  • Client: Bed-bound female (private duty, 1:1 care)
  • Shifts: 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
  • Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Start Date: Immediate openings
Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: From $19.00/hour

Home Health Aide Duties
  • Assist with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility
  • Safe transfers using Hoyer lift
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Maintain client comfort, safety, and dignity
  • Follow individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Active New York State HHA certification
  • Minimum 1 year HHA experience
  • Hoyer lift experience required
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Compassionate, reliable, professional
  • Current physical (within 1 year)
  • PPD/QuantiFERON (1 year) or chest X-ray (5 years)
  • MMR immunization (10 years)
  • Driver’s license preferred
