Affirmed Home Care is currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for per diem, private-duty home care case in Mineola, NY for a Spanish speaking client.
We are a concierge, private-pay home care agency specializing in one-on-one, in-home care. This role is ideal for HHAs looking for flexible scheduling, consistent local assignments, and a supportive agency that truly values its caregivers.

Position Overview
  • Job Type: Per Diem
  • Location: Mineola, NY
  • Shifts: Day shifts Friday - Sunday available (12 hours)

Home Health Aide Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Ensure client safety, comfort, and overall well-being
  • Follow individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Valid New York State HHA Certification
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
  • Current physical exam (within the past year)
  • Valid PPD or QuantiFERON (within the past year) or chest X-ray (within the past 5 years)
  • Proof of MMR immunization (within the past 10 years)
  • Driver’s license preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred
