Position Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for Home Health Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses. You'll play a key role in helping us attract, hire, and onboard exceptional caregivers who embody our commitment to quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, source, and hire Home Health Aides (HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Create and manage job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community outreach
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews to identify qualified candidates
- Guide new hires through the onboarding process and collect all required employment documentation
- Ensure compliance with New York State regulations and Affirmed Home Care hiring standards
- Represent Affirmed Home Care at job fairs, career events, schools, and community recruiting initiatives
- Assist with new hire orientation and provide a positive onboarding experience
- Promote employee referral programs and other recruiting initiatives
- Meet weekly hiring goals while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality
Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience in home care or healthcare staffing
- Experience recruiting HHAs, LPNs, and RNs required
- Strong sourcing and recruiting skills using job boards, social media, and community networking
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually, based on experience
