Affirmed Home Care is actively hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for per diem home care shifts in Port Washington, NY and nearby communities including Port Washington North, Manhasset, Flower Hill, Roslyn, Great Neck, and Glen Cove.

We are a concierge home care agency offering private-pay, one-on-one care in the comfort of our clients’ homes. This role is ideal for HHAs looking for flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a management team that values and supports its caregivers.

Job Details

  • Job Type: Per Diem

  • Location: Port Washington, NY and surrounding Nassau County towns

  • Shifts Available: Daytime and weekend shifts, 6 to 12 hours

  • Start Date: Immediate openings available

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation

  • Ensure client safety and comfort at all times

  • Follow individualized care plans as directed

Requirements

  • Valid New York State HHA Certification

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Home Health Aide

  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional

  • Current physical exam within the past year

  • Valid PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year or chest X-ray within 5 years

  • Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years

  • Driver’s license preferred
