Position Overview

As a Certified Home Health Aide with Affirmed Home Care, you will provide high-quality, individualized in-home care that promotes safety, dignity, and independence. This role is well suited for professional HHAs seeking reliable work, supportive management, and the ability to serve clients in their local community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

  • Provide medication reminders as directed

  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment


Qualifications

  • Valid New York State HHA Certificate

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional HHA experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Driver’s license preferred

  • Physical exam within the past year

  • PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years

  • MMR immunization within the past 10 years
