Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules for RNs and LPNs across pediatric home care cases in a fast-paced healthcare staffing environment
• Ensure all cases are fully staffed and running smoothly at all times
• Handle call-outs, last-minute changes, and urgent coverage needs
• Assign nurses to shifts based on availability, skillset, and client needs
• Maintain accurate, real-time schedules within workforce management systems
• Act as the primary point of contact for all scheduling-related needs
• Quickly resolve scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps with professionalism and urgency
• Communicate updates clearly and effectively with caregivers, families, and internal teams
• Partner with clinical and leadership teams to support high-quality care delivery

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1–2+ years of scheduling, staffing, or coordinator experience
  (healthcare, home care, pediatric, or medical office experience strongly preferred)
• Experience with scheduling or workforce management systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Work Environment

This is an in-office position based in Rochelle Park, NJ. Flexibility for occasional after-hours coverage may be required.
