Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an 11-year-old girl in Upper Saddle River, NJ.Upper Saddle River, NJ | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | $45/hour
This is a consistent Monday–Friday position offering the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with the child and family while providing individualized nursing support throughout the school day.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Location: Upper Saddle River, NJ
- Patient: 11-year-old girl
- Care: 1:1 pediatric nursing
- The RN will meet the child at the family’s home each morning and travel with the child to school
- The RN will remain with the child at school and provide nursing care and support throughout the school day
- Consistent weekday schedule
- Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized 1:1 pediatric nursing care
- Accompany the child from home to school and provide nursing support throughout the school day
- Monitor the child's condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Provide G-tube feedings and related care
- Monitor for and respond appropriately to respiratory complications
- Collaborate with the child's family and Affirmed Home Care's pediatric clinical leadership team
- Follow the established plan of care and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate changes in the child's condition to the appropriate members of the care team
- Active New Jersey RN License in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Pediatric experience in home care, acute care, or a similar clinical setting preferred
- Hands-on experience with G-tube feedings
- Experience caring for pediatric patients with respiratory complications
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and provide attentive 1:1 care
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Competitive pay of $45/hour
