Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Live-In HHAs and Drivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients throughout Suffolk County.


We offer a variety of live-in opportunities, making it easy to find a schedule that fits your availability.

Starting Rate: $255.45 Per Day

Work With Someone You Know
Know another HHA who is looking for live-in work?
Refer another caregiver and coordinate a case together. This is a great opportunity to work with someone you trust while helping provide consistent care to the client.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Prepare meals
  • Perform light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities for driver assignments
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of HHA experience
  • Valid NYS HHA Certificate
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for driver assignments
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • Physical exam within the past year
  • PPD/QuantiFERON within the past year or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
  • MMR immunizations within the past 10 years
