Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced and compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support our private-pay clients throughout FARMINGDALE, NY. This per diem role offers flexibility, meaningful one-on-one care, and the opportunity to work with an agency that truly values its caregivers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Per Diem

  • Coverage Area: FARMINGDALE, NY

  • Availability Needed: Day and weekend shifts (6–12 hours)

  • Start Date: Immediate

Primary Duties

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation

  • Promote a safe, comfortable home environment

  • Follow individualized care plans

Required Qualifications

  • Current New York State HHA Certification

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Minimum 1 year of HHA experience

  • Dependable, compassionate, and professional

  • Physical exam within the past year

  • Valid PPD or QuantiFERON (within 1 year) or chest X-ray (within 5 years)

  • Proof of MMR immunization (within the last 10 years)

  • Driver’s license preferred
