Affirmed Home Care is currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for per diem, private-duty home care case in Mineola, NY for a Spanish speaking client.
We are a concierge, private-pay home care agency specializing in one-on-one, in-home care. This role is ideal for HHAs looking for flexible scheduling, consistent local assignments, and a supportive agency that truly values its caregivers.

Position Overview

Job Type: Per Diem
Location: Mineola, NY
Shifts: Day shifts Friday - Sunday available (12 hours)
Start Date: Immediate openings

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Provide companionship and emotional support
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
Ensure client safety, comfort, and overall well-being
Follow individualized care plans

Requirements

Valid New York State HHA Certification
Authorization to work in the United States
Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Current physical exam (within the past year)
Valid PPD or QuantiFERON (within the past year) or chest X-ray (within the past 5 years)
Proof of MMR immunization (within the past 10 years)
Driver’s license preferred
Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred
