We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Scheduling Coordinator to join our Garden City, New York office.
Position Overview:
The Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of home care services. This position is responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules, responding to scheduling needs, and proactively resolving challenges while maintaining the highest standards of client care. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and assign HHAs, LPNs and RNs to client visits based on client needs and caregiver availability
Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules within the scheduling system
Manage schedule changes, requests, and urgent coverage needs in a timely manner
Serve as the main point of contact for caregivers regarding scheduling questions and updates
Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly to caregivers and clients
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with senior scheduling staff or management
Ensure accurate documentation of caregiver assignments and client schedules
Provide ongoing support to caregivers and clients with scheduling-related inquiries
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–2 years of scheduling or coordination experience, preferably in home care or a healthcare setting
Experience with scheduling software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
